-----

It's no secret.  I love food.  I love all kinds of it.

Food makes me happy and I'm sure it does the same for you.  There's just something about a steaming bowl of pho, fresh pot of adobo, well prepared sushi, or a plate of beef sliders and a basket of fries that has an uncanny, indescribable, unbelievable ability to put a permanent smile on anyone's face while bringing you to a state of uncontrollable bliss.

FEED ME!

Imagine that craving feeling, excited anticipation of driving up to the restaurant, ordering, waiting, and finally being able to sip in that first few spoons of broth, or chomping away at that chicken breast soaked in perfect sauce, or dipping those fries in some ranch sauce.

Food has the ability to make grown men cry tears of joy.

For those that exercise and try to eat right most of the week, we all have at least a day or two where we chow down on whatever we want called a "cheat day".  Pizza, .99 cent Chicken Sandwiches with Buttermilk sauce from Jack In The Box, Meatball Sandwiches, an entire bag of Doritos with a jar of cheese dip - by yourself, 5 pieces of Turon and Mango ice cream, the list can go on and on.

I definitely had a cheat week.

I'm always up for a few servings of spare-ribs, 2 or 3 or even 7 hot-dogs with cream cheese, mayo, & grilled onions, or maybe even a large pepperoni from Pizza Ragazzi - by yourself.

Hey, food makes us feel good.  Darn good.  Period.

A old friend of mine said: "I need to be a health nut... ya know, I'm a just die young but at least I'll be happy." Well said my friend.  Well said.  So if your happiness depends on it, then go ahead and eat that five cheese pizza, or that six layer lasagna, or the monster burrito that's the size of a baby's leg.

Don't even think, just eat it.

Have a good week ya'll and happy eating!  Cheat day schmeat day.

I just read this over and got hungry.  Again.  I'm now going to find an open Taco Bell.  4th Meal, wait, 7th meal, here I come.
